I’m JZ. I’ve spent 20+ years leading enterprise sales teams, most recently as a VP of Americas Enterprise Sales. Earlier still, I spent over a decade as a restaurant entrepreneur, running breakfast and lunch establishments in San Francisco from 1996 to 2008. A different arena, same lesson: show up early, do the work, earn the next win.
The year I turned 40, I faced something I hadn’t planned for: my father passed away at 49, and I realized I was closing in on an age he never reached. That moment forced a full rebuild. Not a crash diet, but a real, sustained transformation in how I trained, ate, and thought, carried alongside a demanding career rather than instead of one.
That rebuild is the foundation of Championship Mindset Labs. I coach working professionals through the same process (health, nutrition, and mindset) without asking anyone to put their career or their life on hold to do it.
